are a good way to learn or improve your French - not only to make communication and integration much easier, but also because it's a fun opportunity to get to know new people if you take part in group language courses!

Even if you don't understand what you're reading keep going. Eventually your mind will start picking up familiar phrases, and once what starts happening it will become easier to learn. Another tip - singing along with music will help with enunciation and pronunciation, and it will help you get the 'feel' of the language.
